I don’t know where to hide the pain
it sifts from my pores
fertilizing a past you see no more
I bend under the weight
but pretend I’m picking flowers
The weeds of lies you quickly devour
My tears are deemed rainbow spheres
Fragile shards of emotions
You chase gleefully into the ocean
I wave from the shore
Becoming smaller in stature and voice
Until I am … no more
