Seek and You Shall Find?

Under saline shroud, she seeks treasure buried in the loneliness aloud.  A heartbeat, disguised by denial and defeat, vibrates in the deepest of her soul, blatantly discreet. A muse, of monstrous might, blows an erotic heat enflaming her creative fuse. Her ravenous greed spurs her forth, through darkness and suffocating seaweed of fearful thought. His pounding pulse, echoed through her verses, yearning convulsed. She fires a flare, need illuminated in a cursive lair.  Silence greets her with a daring stare. Where does she go from here?

      1. Perhaps some day I will write the secrets in a language all can understand. But as long as the words hold power for me — guessing is the safest bet.

      2. And your warm acceptance of me as a writer and a person (now friend) has always endeared you to me. I am very fortunate our paths crossed years ago — and though much time may pass between our talks, we always pick up where we left off. You are a blessing, Professor!! 🙂

      3. Hmmm — I guess I can change mine to “Forgetful Professor” for you. No nickname is necessary, Dave. As long as you don’t forget my real name.

      4. I really am the absent-minded professor sometimes. I’ll have to go back to my old blog and look up our past conversations. It’s been years, you know. Btw, my daughter’s favorite story of mine is Joy and Jonah. She remembers all the details from her favorite chapters. I couldn’t be prouder. Don’t worry – I won’t and haven’t forgotten your real name. 😊😊

    1. Thank you, Jupiter. It began as an epic love poetric prose/ballad/story. I’m not quite sure how it ended up in this form. But sometimes I just have to let go of the control. 🙂 So glad you enjoyed.
