The reeds along the dunes sway. Golden and sexual in all their gleam and glory. Wind blows, sand stings and the reeds suddenly are weeds.  This is the internal battle I wage every day.

      1. We both have much to catch up on, that’s for sure, my long lost friend. 🙂 I’m okay. Life is tough but there are moments of beauty and I’m grateful for those. My new blog is much different than others I’ve done. It’s fan fiction and combines romance and humor. Rom-com. It’s a blast to write and very cathartic, as all writing is. Your writing is simply amazing, Dana. How have you been? Missed you so very much..

      2. Hmmm. I don’t like the sound of life being tough for you. I know you had/have many demands but I believed you had much to be thankful for. You will have to let me know what has changed. I like the new blog and I always enjoy your writing.

I am doing ok. I returned to the corporate world so that has been an adjustment.

So glad I found you again!!!

      3. Tough is a relative word, and I do have many things to be thankful for. But yes, the demands are heavier for sure and somehow in the past two months things have intensified. Thank you for remembering our friendship. I always treasured it and missed you dearly when you disappeared, especially if I was working on a new writing project and couldn’t share it with you. So you’re back in the corporate world! Good for you! I’m sure that is a physical as well as an emotional adjustment. I also noticed you are writing so much now! I don’t think I will be able to keep up with all of your posts, but I’ll do my best to catch the latest one. You’re an amazing writer, a brilliant photographer, and a one-of-a-kind person. Thanks for reconnecting, Dana! 🤗🤗🤗
